There is a fire God lights that cannot be managed, muted, or negotiated with. It is not emotional hype or momentary passion—it is divine compulsion. Jeremiah tried to silence it. He tried to step back. But the Word of the Lord does not retreat once it has taken residence. It becomes fire in the bones.
This fire burns deeper than enthusiasm; it settles into identity. It is what keeps you standing when obedience is costly and speaking truth feels dangerous. It is what drives you forward when comfort calls you back. This is the fire that refuses to let you live a small, quiet, or compromised life.
The Lord is saying: “What I placed in you was never meant to stay hidden.” The resistance you feel is not a sign to stop—it is evidence that the fire is alive. Heaven has ignited something in you that hell cannot extinguish and people cannot contain.
This fire purifies your voice, sharpens your discernment, and fuels holy courage. It burns away fear of man and replaces it with fear of God. It will make you uncomfortable with silence when God says “speak,” and restless with passivity when God says “go.”
Do not confuse the weight of the fire with burnout. Burnout drains; God’s fire sustains. It may press you, but it will also empower you. If you feel it stirring again, do not suppress it—yield to it. The fire was given for this hour.
The fire also carries responsibility. When the fire burns rightly, it does not seek attention—it seeks obedience. And through that obedience, light spreads, truth is released, and the purposes of God advance in places that once sat in darkness.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, We acknowledge the fire You have placed within us. We will not resist Your Word or silence Your voice. Let the fire in our bones burn with purity, courage, and obedience. Strengthen us to speak, act, and live according to Your will. We say yes to Your holy fire Lord God Amlmighty
