September 22 — Redeeming Time Ephesians 5:15–16
“See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.”
Ephesians 5:15–16 Sound Devotional
Reflection
Time is not merely passing—it is being weighed. Heaven measures moments differently than earth does, and in this hour the Lord is teaching His people how to redeem time, not chase it. What was lost is not gone; what was delayed is not disqualified. God is able to compress seasons, restore years, and bring alignment where disorder once ruled.
To redeem time means to buy it back—to reclaim moments that were squandered by fear, distraction, or warfare. The Spirit is highlighting kairos moments hidden inside chronos days. What looks like an ordinary day may be carrying extraordinary assignment. Wisdom is the currency that redeems time, and obedience is the receipt.
There are seasons when God slows us down—not to punish us, but to realign us. He redeems time by removing what no longer belongs, cutting off dead weight, and sharpening discernment. Acceleration without alignment produces burnout, but alignment invites supernatural increase. When you move in step with the Spirit, time bends in your favor.
The Lord is also restoring wasted years. He does not merely heal regret; He repurposes it. The very places where you thought you fell behind are becoming platforms of authority. What the enemy used to delay you is now being used to distinguish you. Redeemed time carries clarity, focus, and fruitfulness.
In this hour, watch what you agree with. Watch what you entertain. Watch what you tolerate. Redeeming time requires intentional living—choosing eternal priorities over urgent distractions. When you seek first the Kingdom, time begins to serve purpose instead of stealing it.
Hear the word of the Lord: Now is the time. Not later. Not when everything feels perfect. Now is the moment to realign, to speak life, to obey quickly, and to move with wisdom. Heaven is synchronizing steps, restoring rhythm, and calling you into a redeemed season.
