“Again He said to me, ‘Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, “O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord!”

 Scripture: Ezekiel 37:4           Sound Devotional

Reflection

The Spirit of the Lord carried Ezekiel into a valley that looked like the end of promise. Scattered bones. Sun-bleached hope. The evidence of a battle long lost. God did not ask him what he saw—He asked him what He heard. “Can these bones live?”

In the natural, the answer was obvious. In the Spirit, the answer was hidden in obedience.

The Lord did not tell Ezekiel to organize the bones. He did not tell him to bury them. He did not tell him to weep over them. He commanded him to prophesy.

There are seasons in your life,

where God will bring you face-to-face with things that look irreversible—regions that seem spiritually barren, promises that appear delayed, atmospheres that feel lifeless. But the instruction is not to analyze the dryness. The instruction is to speak the Word of the Lord.

Dry bones respond to sound.

Notice the order: First, the Word was spoken. Then there was a noise. Then a shaking. Then alignment. Then breath. Revival begins with a voice.

When you prophesy according to His Word, you are not trying to create life—you are partnering with the Breath that already intends to come. The prophetic declaration creates structure; the Spirit brings animation.

Some valleys are waiting for intercessors bold enough to speak.

The Lord says: “Do not be intimidated by how long it has been dry. I specialize in ancient ruins. I restore what has been scattered. Open your mouth, and I will cause a sound to move through the valley.”

This is not the hour to whisper hope. It is the hour to declare it.

Prophesy to: Dead dreams. Broken families. Silent regions. Dormant callings.

National shaking that looks like collapse but is actually reassembly.

When the Word is released in faith, heaven backs it.

And after the bones stood up, they became “an exceedingly great army.” What looked like loss became mobilization.

The valley was not a grave—it was a womb.

Prayer

Father, breathe upon every dry place within us and in the land You have assigned to us. Teach us to speak Your Word boldly over what appears lifeless. Let there be a holy sound, a shaking, and divine alignment. Fill us again with Your Breath, and raise up an exceedingly great army for Your glory.

King of Glory in Your Holy Name we pray.
