June 13 — Life More Abundantly: Sound Devotional, John 10:10 (KJV)

2 min read
"The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."
Abundant life is not a future reward reserved for heaven—it is a present reality released through Christ. Jesus did not come merely to rescue us from death, but to restore us to overflowing life. This abundance is not measured by excess possessions, but by unbroken communion, divine vitality, and heaven’s flow moving through an yielded heart.
Prophetically, this is a season where the Lord is restoring what was drained. The enemy specializes in reduction—stealing joy, killing hope, destroying vision. But Jesus announces Himself as the great Restorer of fullness. Where there has been survival, He brings thriving. Where there has been weariness, He releases renewal. Where there has been barrenness, He speaks increase.
Life more abundantly begins on the inside. It is the resurrection life of Christ animating your spirit, reordering your soul, and even touching your body. This life causes you to rise each day with heaven’s breath in your lungs and eternal purpose in your steps. You are not sustained by circumstance—you are sustained by His life within you.
Abundance also carries authority. When His life overflows in you, darkness loses its grip. Fear no longer governs. Lack no longer dictates. The abundant life causes you to live from a place of supply, not scarcity. You become a conduit— what God pours into you flows through you to others.
Hear this prophetically: This is not the season to shrink back. It is the season to receive without apology. The Shepherd is leading you into wide, open places. Let Him enlarge your capacity. Let Him heal your vision. Let Him fill every empty place with the life that never runs dry
Prayer
Lord Jesus, You are the Giver of life—life more abundantly. We receive Your
fullness today. Thank You Great Redeemer, for restoring what has been stolen,
renewing what has grown weary, and causing Your resurrection life to overflow
in us. Lord, we choose to live from Your abundance and not from lack, thank You
for life and life more abundantly. We turn now and through the power of Your
blood stand in the gap for all of still ensnared in the darkness of the destroyer.
Thank You Lord for the same light od Your delivering mercy that delivered us
