There are battles you will never have to fight because God intervenes before the plan can mature. Job declares a truth that still shakes the unseen realm: the Lord does not merely respond to evil—He frustrates it.
To frustrate means to confuse, to tangle, to render powerless what once seemed brilliant. The crafty pride themselves on strategy, manipulation, and hidden advantage, but heaven sees every meeting before it happens and every scheme before it forms. God touches the plan—not the person—and suddenly what was coordinated unravels.
This is how spiritual justice often works. The hands are willing, but the strength is gone. The ideas are clever, but the timing collapses. Doors that looked certain will not open. Words spoken in secret lose their power in the open. What was meant to trap others becomes a snare for the one who set it.
This word speaks to an acceleration of exposure. “The counsel of the cunning comes quickly upon them.” Not slowly. Not eventually. Quickly. In this season, hidden motives are being revealed at unprecedented speed. The very wisdom used to deceive is turning into evidence.
This is not chaos—it is mercy mixed with justice. God frustrates plans so destruction does not spread. He interrupts schemes so His purposes can stand. He allows craftiness to collapse under its own weight so truth can rise without striving.
For the righteous, this is a call to rest and trust. You do not need to outsmart the enemy; you need to stay aligned with God. While others plot in the dark, the Lord works in the light. While they scheme, He speaks—and His word overrules every counsel.
Stand still and watch. Remain upright and wait.
The Lord is already ahead of what you feared was behind your back.
